Studio GQ is a purpose-built creative space in Gqeberha, opened in 2026 by FilmHouse — the Eastern Cape’s premier production house.

Designed to meet the demands of modern production, Studio GQ was created not only for our own work, but for a new generation of creatives seeking a high-end film, photography, and podcast studio in Gqeberha. A space that delivers both function and feeling — where precision meets comfort, and creativity is never limited by environment.

Housed within a 120m² two-storey studio — with 60m² per floor — the space has been carefully designed to separate production environments while maintaining a seamless flow between them. Upstairs features a dedicated infinity curve studio with full support areas, while downstairs offers a versatile shooting space, podcast setup, and meeting environment.

Available for studio hire in the Eastern Cape, Studio GQ is suited to cinematic productions, commercial shoots, podcast recording, interviews, and content creation. Every detail has been considered — from acoustically treated interiors to adaptable shooting areas, professional lighting support, and dedicated hair, makeup, and wardrobe facilities.

Supported by the experience of FilmHouse, Studio GQ is equipped to offer additional production support — including gear rental, crew hire, and fully licensed drone services through Drone Division. This allows productions to move seamlessly from concept to execution within a single, integrated environment.
